Shipping & Returns

Purchase Terms:

These Purchase Terms apply to your purchase of products offered via Cordova Bay Record's eStore, as that term is defined for your purchases through our eStore online catalog. Your purchase from us constitutes your agreement to follow these Purchase Terms and Terms of Use and to be bound by them. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM US.

Merchandise Availability:

Cordova Bay Records may, at our own discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. We also reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit sales to dealers, resellers or distributors.

Backordered Items:

Backordered items are temporarily out of stock. In-stock items will ship at the time the order is placed. Backordered items will be shipped at regular shipping charge rates. There is no additional charge if they have to be shipped seperately from an in-stock item.

Due to the nature of the industry, from time-to-time we may run out of items, particularly special items limited in numbers, timeframes or locations. We are sorry but once an item has become unavailable it may never be available again.


The prices displayed are quoted in Canadian Dollars although we try to present our best current guess as to the pricing in other currencies for reference purposes only. Billing will take place in Canadian Dollars and the rate of exchange at the bank's processing stage will be the actual price when other currencies are expected.

Sales Tax & Duty:

Canadian Sales tax is currently collected on ALL purchases made through the Cordova Bay eStore with the exception of shipments made outside of Canada.

Sales tax will be collected based on shipping location and may include PST, GST or HST depending on the tax method deployed in the destestination territory.

Duty and local sales tax to non-Canadian locations is the responsibility of the purchaser and is not borne by Cordova Bay Records or the Cordova Bay Records eStore.

Shipping & Handling:

Shipping and handling charges are assessed on all orders based on the shipment weight, shipping location and speed of delivey. When gift cards are purchased with merchandise, your gift cards will be shipped separately with your merchandise at no additional cost.

Standard Service:

Orders within Canada usually arrive within 4-7 business days (for in-stock items).
Orders to the USA usually arrive within 7-14 business days (for in-stock items).
Internation Orders usually arrive within 14-21 business days (for in-stock items).

Payment Information:

We accept the following forms of payment for online and phone orders:

  • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express)
  • PayPal (online only)

Orders will be processed and shipped after obtaining credit card authorization. We do not process the actual charge to your debit card until your order is shipped; however, we will request another authorization from your bank to verify that the funds remain available if there is a delay from your original order date to our shipping date.

Returns & Exchanges:

We will gladly accept returns of unwashed, unworn, or defective merchandise purchased within 30 days of the original purchase date. When you have an original sales receipt/invoice, refunds will be provided in the manner in which the original purchase was made.

Return by prepaid mail:

You must prepay postage at the point of return. Replacement shipping will be free for defective merchandice or billed at the standard rates for requested replacement merchandice.

Please allow 3 or 4 weeks for your return to be processed and credit to be issued.

Note: if the reason for the return is due to a broken jewel case in CDs or DVDs, it is recommended that replacement jewel cases should be purchased locally and the contents of the disc package be moved from the broken to the replacement case. The cost of shipping the broken product back is usually greatly in excess of the cost of shipping.
